Equalities Award

The school has been relentlessly working towards ensuring that we are a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds. In April 2022 we received notification that we had been successful in achieving the Gold Equalities Award.

This prestigious award highlights the school’s work on diversity, equality and inclusion which underpins whole school strategies and reflects the inclusive ethos and curriculum provided for our pupils.

The process of working towards this has been an excellent reflective tool which has supported the growth and understanding of equity and inclusion throughout all aspects of the school’s work.

We are extremely proud of this achievement and going forward will seek to continually strive for excellence in this area.
